If you follow us on FractalComputing.Substack.com, you know we are spending a good deal of time in Washington DC advising the military on how to manage 100,000 drones like they were a flock of birds.
The cyber guys are also advising us on voter rolls, and their advice is quite interesting.
Who knew these guys knew anything about voter rolls?
There is a growing consensus in DC that election rolls are a national asset that needs to be protected like any other critical asset.
We spent a lot of time showing the national cyber guys the appalling voter rolls for 25 states – each of which has enough anomalies to turn an election.
We showed them women voting from frat houses in Alabama, 6,000 Texas voters living in UPS boxes, 22,000 Wisconsinites with the same phone and 1.25 million anomalous ballot/address combos in Pennsylvania – enough to make a difference.
Much to our surprise, they read our stuff, and that of others.
What we learned is there is a growing acceptance that in 2028 or another big year, on election night something might happen even more entertaining than 2016 – when the counting was put into abeyance until Biden could harvest the votes he needed.
These are not election type people – they are not tied to the crazy women in the national voter integrity movement, who, with little left in their life, gather volunteers to clean voter rolls and launch losing lawsuits.
These guys are not on Zoom calls with fringe elements of the voter integrity movement.
These are cyber guys – and they understand what NSA level security means – so they are pretty much finishing our sentences for us.
Their thesis is the following:
It is 11:00 PM election night, 2028 and 5 swing states cannot report because someone crashed their election rolls.
Since every swing state’s voter rolls are ones we have seen, this is not only a possibility but we could do it and so could any other gifted tech group. We wouldn’t do it but others would.
So it’s election night and instead of Bret Baier calling Arizona, he is telling viewers the voter rolls in 5 swing states are totally corrupted – or compromised and it will take a “while” to figure out what happened.
A while turns into weeks, months, you get the picture.
It is December, no president can take office because there is no way to reconstitute the voter rolls of those 5 states.
This is very possible – and since each state has 10% to over 20% anomalous voter/address combos – even a backup file can be challenged.
The states have the voting data – but nobody can tie those ballots to the voter rolls because, for instance, everyone’s voter ID is now modified.
We can drag you through the drama but you pretty much get it.
If you don’t we assure you that the voter rolls in every state use 1980s obsolete technology and taking them down is not impossible, it is something to protect against.
So what happens?
Our solution is to have a backup copy of the voter rolls of every state – protected, current, with NSA level security.
To start, we would choose the swing states, and fortunately, guess what? We have their voter rolls, running in our data center – every swing state – Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina.
The national guys saw the problem of taking the voter rolls of every state, certainly every swing state, each of which requires a major data center – as an obstacle requiring several years of effort to stage and process.
Since we have all of this in full production right now, without a data center – perhaps we, the Fractal guys can relieve some of the pressure.
You, in the election space, need to know there is a growing acceptance that shutting down an election by screwing with the voter rolls may happen.
A solution to the problem is to run a current copy, outside the Secretary of State’s office, with NSA – level security – to cut the cards to make sure this never happens.
While the national election integrity types have degenerated into old ladies with emotional problems chasing phantom voters with relational technology, there are parts of the government who recognize the threat and are doing something about it.
The Fractal team is now working with teams who understand this threat and understand that if it is not mitigated, with a secondary, current database, Bret Baier may be reporting that the election cannot be called.
Let’s not let that happen.
